Sotheby’s will put up for sale the second set of NFTs from the Three Arrows Capital collection

 

Auction house Sotheby’s is going to put up for sale the second set of non-exchangeable tokens (NFT) seized from the bankrupt cryptocurrency hedge fund Three Arrows Capital.

The second sale of NFTs from the Three Arrows Capital Grails collection will take place in New York on June 15. In the announcement of the upcoming auction Sotheby’s said that the auction will feature 37 unique works of generative artists. Among them are Dmitry Chernyak’s “Goose” and Tyler Hobbs’ “Fidenza #216.

Note that Dmitry Cherniak’s Goose collectible was purchased by Three Arrows Capital co-founders Su Zhu and Kyle Davies in August 2021 for approximately 1,800 ETH, which was about $6 million at the time.

Earlier, Teneo, the liquidator of Three Arrows Capital, announced its intention to auction off the entire NFT collection of the bankrupt cryptocurrency hedge fund. The first auction of NFT Grails brought Teneo more than $6 million.<br
