Canaan Unveils Immersively Cooled Bitcoin Miner A1366I with High Power and Overclocking Capabilities

Mining equipment manufacturer Canaan introduced a new bitcoin miner A1366I. It is immersively cooled and designed to fit in special containers.

The power of the new ASIC miner is 165 Tx/s, however, the efficiency is not too high – 30 Joules per terahash.

Because of its low efficiency, the device consumes a lot of power – 4,950 watts. Therefore, to connect it you need a current of 30 amps at 200-300 volts. The weight of the device is 9.7 kg.

The company emphasizes that the Canaan A1366I is a quiet, environmentally friendly device with overclocking capabilities, thanks to its immersive cooling.

Chip frequency can be increased up to 38%. In addition, the lack of fans and dust has a positive impact on the longevity of the miner.

The price of the device as well as the start date of delivery is still unknown.

However, those interested in Canaan A1366I can already apply on the company’s website, after which managers will contact them.

Earlier, MicroBT introduced three new models of ASIC miners in the Whatsminer M50 line. One of them also has immersive cooling, and all three units have an efficiency of 22 joules per terahash.
