The Solana network saw a record-breaking transaction volume of over $951 billion in January, as reported by The Block Data Dashboard. This marked a significant increase from the previous month’s transaction volume of $738.8 billion.

In fact, the level of blockchain activity on Solana surpassed any other month in 2023. The value of the SOL coin also experienced a notable uptick, rising approximately 18% in the past week. Additionally, the number of active addresses on the network reached its highest level since January of the previous year.

Not long ago, Solana released a report revealing that the number of developers involved in the ecosystem fluctuated between 2,500 and 3,000 on a monthly basis throughout 2023. It is important to note that this figure only represents developers working in public repositories, excluding private ones.

In a separate analysis, experts from the Artemis platform disclosed that the volume of stablecoin transfers on the Solana blockchain reached a staggering $303 billion since the beginning of the year, surpassing the previous December record of $297 billion.
