During his address, Tim Draper highlighted the distrust of centralized governments towards crypto assets, particularly the first cryptocurrency, Bitcoin.
He stressed that despite the authorities’ apprehension towards cryptocurrencies, they will inevitably transform the financial system.
Draper opined that the recent collapse of Silicon Valley Bank has damaged people’s trust in the banking system and a strong leader would restore that trust by trusting the remaining banks.
He also emphasized that blockchain, Bitcoin, and smart contracts are significant developments that governments should accept.
The investor’s speech concluded with a captivating song about Satoshi Nakamoto, the anonymous Bitcoin developer, banks, governments, and the pursuit of a new world order.
The song received an enthusiastic response from the audience, who applauded Draper’s performance. The investor continues to maintain that Bitcoin’s price will grow tenfold and reach $250,000 by the end of 2023, even in the face of FTX’s collapse.
He further stated that the price of Bitcoin could surpass $250,000 if women worldwide begin paying for goods with the cryptocurrency in stores.
