The American branch of Binance, a popular cryptocurrency exchange, has announced that it will delist two assets from its platform, including the Abracadabra SPELL DeFi protocol token and the TRON (TRX) altcoin.
The delisting of both assets is scheduled for April 18, with deposits disabled on April 17 and trading halted shortly after.
The reason behind the decision remains unclear, but Binance.US representatives have stated that the exchange constantly re-evaluates assets and has strict parameters for assessment.
The delisting of TRON may be related to a recent lawsuit against its founder, Justin Sun, by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Withdrawals of these assets will still be allowed. This move comes after Binance also delisted QLC, NEBL, and AUTO cryptocurrencies from its platform.
