GQ to Launch Its First NFT Collection with Digital Artworks

GQ, the renowned men’s fashion magazine, is set to debut its first-ever collection of non-fungible tokens (NFTs), offering NFT holders an opportunity to engage in exclusive US edition events at discounted rates.

The collection, designed by artists Chuck Anderson, Kelsey Niziolek, REO, and Serwah Attafuah, bears the general motto “Change for the better” (Change Is Good), and showcases several digital artworks.

Each item from the NFT collection will have a starting price of 0.1957 ether ($330), and the magazine’s 66th anniversary will be commemorated with the release of 1661 NFTs.

The numbers were carefully selected; 1957 marks the year of the magazine’s inaugural issue. GQ plans to launch the collection on March 8 and will offer buyers of NFTs a range of bonuses, including exclusive merchandise, subscriptions, and participation in various publication events and parties.

Founded as a fashion supplement for Esquire magazine, GQ, also known as Gentlemen’s Quarterly, has been in operation for over six decades and has repeatedly been recognized as the most influential magazine in the world.

The publication features articles on fashion, style, technical innovations, and cars, among other topics.
