The first products available on the site are works by aviation photographer Luke Ozawa. Each of these NFTs costs 100,000 yen ($717). The second set of products will go on sale June 7 and will include more than 1,500 NFTs. A total of 1,574 items are available for purchase.

“We’re excited to open up a new avenue for connecting with our customers and enhancing their experience. Through this initiative, we aim to unlock the potential of NFT in the aviation industry by combining the digital and physical realms to create unique and memorable experiences,” said ANA NEO President Mitsuo Tomito.

The airline industry continues to incorporate meta-universe technology into its services. In March, the Argentine low-cost airline Flybondi launched the Ticket 3.0 project (Ticket 3.0), under which it began issuing its tickets in the form of NFT. And last year, Emirates, a Dubai-based airline, announced the addition of a bitcoin payment option.<br
