Telegram messenger users can now exchange, buy, sell, and transfer Tether (USDT) stablecoins for free directly within their chats.
To top up their USDT balance, they only need to click “Get” in the bot’s interface’s main menu. Adding the bot to the attachment menu enables users to send USDT by clicking the “paperclip” in their chats with other users, which presents @wallet as an option.
To complete the transaction, they must enter the amount and click “Submit.” Telegram stated that sending stablecoins is now as easy as sharing a photo.
However, it is crucial to note that @wallet only accepts transfers from the TRC-20 network.
The @wallet bot has already incorporated Bitcoin (BTC) and Toncoin (TON), with the latter also available for sending in chats.
Last year, the Telegram messenger’s creators announced the launch of the cryptocurrency payment service in TON via the unofficial bot, Telegram Wallet.
