The British Supreme Court has rejected a complaint by self-identified Satoshi Nakamoto

The UK Supreme Court has dismissed crypto investor Craig Wright’s appeal against lower court decisions, which found no libel in blogger Peter McCormack’s statements.

Craig Wright filed a lawsuit against blogger Peter McCormack two years ago, claiming that McCormack had repeatedly accused him of lying about being the creator of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto.

In August 2022, a British court ruled that Wright had knowingly presented false evidence. Protested by the decision’s unfairness, Wright appealed in July 2023 but was rejected.

Attempting to overturn the lower court’s decision, Wright presented his arguments to no avail. The UK Supreme Court, the final authority in the country, upheld the rejection.

In a related development, nChain Global CEO Christen Ager-Hanssen resigned from the company after discovering evidence of Wright’s attempts to manipulate public opinion and forge documents to support his claim as Bitcoin’s creator.
