Alchemy Pay announced a partnership with Mastercard

  • The goal of the integration is to “connect cryptocurrency to ordinary people.”
  • Alchemy Pay was previously listed as a Visa payment service provider
  • Customers can buy NFT with Mastercard

Singapore-based cryptopayment provider Alchemy Pay was approved and added to the Mastercard SDP Compliant list of registered service providers. Robert McCracken, head of the Alchemy Pay ecosystem, commented on this integration:

“Our participation in Mastercard SDP reflects our desire to act in accordance with the regulatory framework. Ultimately, consumers have seamless access to blockchain finances through global payment standards such as Mastercard.”

Alchemy Pay was given the opportunity earlier this year to become the payment service provider of another global player, Visa. This is in line with Alchemy Pay’s main goal, which is to be a bridge that facilitates transactions between fiat currencies and cryptocurrencies.

The main goal of Alchemy Pay is to bring cryptocurrency closer to ordinary people and make it easier to use. The company aims to eliminate the difficulties associated with the exchange of fiat currencies for crypto assets or even NFT. Even now that NFTs have become popular, the process of buying them can be confusing. To address these issues, Alchemy Pay is actively working to improve usability solutions, and is implementing NFT Checkout. This means that you can now use Mastercard to buy NFTs.
