Outrage sparked over US Senator’s proposed “army against cryptography” in election campaign

The US Senator’s plan to center his election campaign on the formation of an “anti-cryptography army” has sparked outrage among concerned members of the public.

In a united address to the US Parliament, David McIntosh, Grover Norquist, and Adam Brandon, the presidents of non-profit associations Club for Growth, Americans for Tax Reform, and FreedomWorks, expressed their apprehensions about Senator Elizabeth Warren’s increasing efforts to impose fresh regulations on digital assets and firms.

“We are profoundly disappointed with the attempts to attack digital asset companies and the work of senators like Elizabeth Warren who curtail economic freedoms.

The capitalist free market has generated more wealth and prosperity than any other economic system in the history of the world.

We oppose any attempts to suppress innovation, penalize job creators and object makers, and impede investments for the new generation in America,” the statement by public businessmen reads.

Earlier, Katie Haun, a member of Coinbase’s board, spoke to The Wall Street Journal about Warren’s and her supporters’ visionary stance, calling the congressmen’s actions “ill-advised, reckless, and potentially unconstitutional.

” The entrepreneur believes that America is on a “perilous path of shutting off the banking system to the underprivileged.”

Representatives of the US crypto industry have also expressed critical opinions, and CoinDesk’s editorial board shares their concerns.

While striving to maintain neutrality as journalists, CoinDesk stated that recent government actions indicate that there may be a coordinated effort by authorities to harm the digital asset industry.
