Bittrex Global CEO Predicts Cryptocurrencies’ Integration into Traditional Finance

Bittrex Global CEO Oliver Lynch believes that in 5-10 years, cryptocurrencies will become full-fledged participants in the traditional financial system.

During the Bitcoin Miami conference, Oliver Linch noted that U.S. regulators look at cryptocurrencies through the lens of traditional finance when trying to understand their nature.

And this is an extremely inefficient way. Instead, cryptocurrencies should become a new part of the financial system.

However, Lynch believes that the fundamental principles of regulation should remain the same:

“You have securities, you have derivatives, you have cryptocurrencies.. Just another part of the financial system, isn’t it?”

According to the CEO of Bittrex Global, in the future cryptocurrencies will integrate into traditional finance.

In an ideal world, it would be quick and painless, but it’s unlikely to happen in reality.

But it has to happen, Lynch says, and then separate cryptocurrency conferences like Bitcoin Miami will become redundant.

Recall that in early April, the U.S. division of Bittrex announced it was ceasing operations and then filed for bankruptcy.

The management of the site promises that these events will not affect the work of Bittrex Global.
