MyEListing.com, a new real estate platform that allows buyers and sellers to transact in cryptocurrency, has just launched in the United States.
The platform boasts the ability to close trades within a single business day, and is available for users from around the globe.
The platform is integrated with Coinbase Commerce, which enables merchants to accept payments in digital currencies.
According to CEO Caleb Richter, MyEListing.com aims to revolutionize both the cryptocurrency and real estate industries.
“The real estate system as we know it needs to change. It’s often a complicated process to purchase property, especially in a different state or country.
With our platform, anyone can buy real estate in the U.S. using cryptocurrency and close the deal in just one business day, no matter their location or language.”
The platform will initially focus on properties in Texas, with plans to expand to other states later this year.
Real estate agents, brokers, and sellers in Texas can submit their properties to the program and present them to a global audience.
This follows on from the launch of Moon Mortgage, a cryptocurrency lending platform that enables borrowers to use liquid crypto assets as collateral for real estate financing.
