Shiba Inu Whale Moves Almost a Quarter of a Trillion SHIB Tokens in a Single Transaction

A colossal “whale of the market” in the form of Shiba Inu has made an enormous transfer of nearly a quarter of a trillion SHIB mem tokens in a single transaction.

Etherscan, a blockchain data-monitoring service, reported that a major investor moved almost 260 billion SHIB tokens, with a value of over $2.64 million, to Shiba Inu’s smart contracts. These tokens can either be burned or utilized for the ecosystem’s requirements.

Despite this multi-million dollar transaction, the investor only paid a commission of $2. According to Etherscan, even after this transfer, the whale still has 4.9 trillion Shiba Inu, equivalent to roughly $50.23 million.

As of Sunday evening, March 12, SHIB was trading at $0.0000102 per token. Interestingly, the crypto investor who made this significant deal with SHIB tokens holds 111 different altcoins, with a total value of $76.29 million, in which SHIB tokens account for 66% of the total value.

Among other notable ownership stakes are: Polygon (MATIC) valued at $11.97 million, Chainlink (LINK) valued at $5.55 million, Aave (AAVE) valued at $2.17 million, and Compound (COMP) valued at $2.63 million. Additionally, Shiba Inu’s developer has previously hinted at a Shibarium beta launch timeline.
